Ingredients

  • Pork Chops
  • 2 Cups Chopped Onions, Bell Peppers
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Spices (Tony C, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Powder)
  • 3 Tablespoons Cooking Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons of Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
  • 6 1/2 Cups Water

Pork Chop Directions

Set skillet to medium/high heat. Use spices and season both sides of pork chops to your liking. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add olive oil to hot skillet and spread around for even coverage. Lightly brown pork chops on both sides and place on cookie sheet. Finish cooking pork chops in the oven for 30 minutes. Slice pork chops in half for easier serving. Place them in skillet with gravy (when gravy is complete) and let simmer on medium for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

Gravy Directions

Return skillet to medium/high heat after placing pork chops in the oven. Add cooking wine to deglaze the skillet. Add butter and chopped onions and bell peppers to the wine and pan drippings. Saute vegetables until onions clear and bell peppers are tender. Mix 1 tablespoon of flour with 2 cups of water and add to skillet mixture then repeat. Using spices, season to taste. Add Kitchen Bouquet browning sauce and stir.
